Working alone under my adviser I built an experiment that detected when a nanowire moved by 1/10 the diameter of a hydrogen atom in a 1 second measurement. By changing the air pressure I was able to measure the force exerted on nanowires as they collided with gas molecules.-Undergraduate thesis written and peer reviewed publication on this work-Microwave.
