Opened first PICU at Kalispell Regional Healthcare. Grew staff from 7 nurses with limited pediatric and PICU experience to over 35 nurses and nursing assistants with vast experience from children's hospitals all over the country. Managed all aspects of staffing, scheduling, recruitment, retention, process and policy writing for care of acutely and critically ill pediatric patients.

Practiced at bedside caring for acutely ill pediatric patients in the PICU. Cared for all level of patients including those on dialysis, ECMO, post trauma and participated in active resuscitation of patients. Performed relief charge nurse duties and participated in shared governance council.

Direct Supervisor to PICU night shift. Provided guidance, mentoring and evaluation for 28 staff members. Acted as charge nurse on night shift in a high acuity 40 bed PICU. Responded to all code or emergency events throughout the organization, participated in shared governance council was well as respiratory therapy and nursing assistant scope focus groups.
