Ever since I was a little girl I've had a passion for helping others. The health care industry is the perfect profession to put my skills to use. I love patient interaction and a sense of feeling needed. To this day I remember as a child wanting to help other kids who had a scrape or had fallen off their bike. I am currently enrolled in Ivy Tech Community College to become a Phlebotomy Tech. Being able to put what I've learned to use has been such a thrill. Phlebotomy has been such a great career choice thus far and I can't wait to even further my experience learning more in the healthcare world. When I'm not performing venipunctures I spend my time with my family. I have a husband and two kids, multitasking is second nature to me, so I am prepared for a fast-paced work environment. When I get free time I enjoy whipping up some new recipes I find on Pinterest. I love cooking and trying new foods.
