I can fluently speak the language of leaders while balancing relationships with a complex set of stakeholders. Having started both my teaching and administrative careers in traditional district work, I understand the present internal structures and limitations. Launching into public charter school work, the last 7+ years has led me to explore the entrepreneurial nature of building new systems from scratch, including development of authentic and trusting relationships with a variety of people who also care about community transformation. From leveraging effective grant and charter writing skills, to fearlessly pursuing unlikely partnerships across sectors, I have been on a team that is responsible for durable growth of an organization that is producing life-changing outcomes for vulnerable students in a volatile environment.
