Consulting Policy Analyst
Developed and implemented a survey targeting Indian residents of low income and rural villages. The survey measured both qualitative and quantitative indicators to create a fulsome picture of the experiences respondents have had with financial institutions and other relevant policies/programs. Throughout the development I evaluated the survey for its potential negative impact on respondents due to the personal nature of the financial questions being asked. Analysed the interaction between India’s PMJDY (universal bank account) policy and BASIX’s innovative service delivery model to evaluate the impact of this policy on the goal of equal access to financial services for all Indians.
