These reports formed the basis for selecting the proponents qualified to respond to RFPs for operating WorkBC employment offices.Applied a flexible multi-method approach that included: analysing census data, supplementing that data with targeted qualitative research and supporting it with local stakeholder interviews with a focus on the needs of specialized populations.

Contributed as a researcher and proof reader to the UBC team thar contributed to a report commissioned by BCC, which is the basis for a Global Affairs Canada’s proposal for a Canada-ASEAN Free Trade Agreement. This agreement impacts multi-million-dollar trade flows between 11 nations.The team provided a sectoral summary and a series of case studies on Canadian companies operating in Southeast Asia. I professionally liaised with various Canadian companies operating in ASEAN to collect content and craft it into a clear narrative for a ministerial audience.The completion and submission of this proposal is a prominent goal of Global Affairs Canada in this parliamentary year.

Hyderabad Area, India

 Developed and implemented a survey targeting Indian residents of low income and rural villages. The survey measured both qualitative and quantitative indicators to create a fulsome picture of the experiences respondents have had with financial institutions and other relevant policies/programs.  Throughout the development I evaluated the survey for its potential negative impact on respondents due to the personal nature of the financial questions being asked. Analysed the interaction between India’s PMJDY (universal bank account) policy and BASIX’s innovative service delivery model to evaluate the impact of this policy on the goal of equal access to financial services for all Indians.

▪ Worked with a team of international business students who consulted on the District of West Vancouver’s inaugural Tourism Plan.▪ The final oral presentation was to community stakeholders including their VP of Economic Development and other stakeholders.

Contributed as an experienced researcher and fledging data analyst to the creation of a seminal report commissioned by the Canada-ASEAN Business Council, in collaboration with the IDRC and the Asia Pacific Foundation.The goal of this project was to draft, implement, and analyse the results from the second comprehensive survey of Canadian businesses operating in the ASEAN region. I diligently liaised with over 170 Canadian businesses and the embassies and Chambers of Commerce for 11 nations to dissemination this innovative survey.The report can be found here: http://www.canasean.com/publications/opprotunity. The results of this survey were presented at the Canada-ASEAN Business Forum held in Jakarta on September 8th, 2016.

 Centered the team administering the first round of e-inspection questionnaires, administered at 56 diplomatic missions abroad.  Rigorously maintained, evaluated, and formatted questionnaire data and other indicators from across Global Affairs Canada, which when collated revealed overarching trends and embassy-specific recommendations, which were presented as data visualizations in unique reports. This project was awarded the Deputy Ministerial Award for Excellence in Innovation in 2016.
