Corrina Wright, a visionary in the world of wine, carries the legacy of over 180 years of family grape growing in her veins. Recognized by WBM Magazine as a "legend in the making" and acknowledged by James Halliday as an integral part of a "remarkable dynasty."She has played a pivotal role in transforming her family's grape supply business into a thriving, award-winning wine and tourism enterprise., and more recently spearheading the acquisition of Oliver & Press Winemakers, a contract processing winery in McLaren Flat.Passionate about her home, vocation, and local community, Corrina has contributed to the McLaren Vale Grape, Wine & Tourism Association, ASVO, and WFA boards. Currently serving on the Australian Women In Wine action board, the Diversity, Equality and Inclusion in Wine committee for Australian Grape & Wine, she's a driving force for diversity and inclusion in the wine industry. Corrina is the current Australian Alternative Varieties Wine Show president and an Australian Wine Research Institute board member. Named the 2019 ASVO Winemaker of the Year and the inaugural recipient of FBA's Leading Women in Family Business Award in 2021, Corrina is also a partner in Swell Brewing Co., a McLaren Vale craft beer brand. In her spare time, she delves into wine writing, mentoring women in the industry, judging at wine shows and her expertise often makes her a sought-after host and speaker at events. A new project in 2023 saw Corrina and Oliver’s Taranga partner with F1 driver Valtteri Bottas on a new wine brand, IHANA, which has resulted in adventures all over the world. With a broad interest in family business, wine, sales & marketing, social media, community, regional tourism, workplace diversity, alternative varieties, and farming, Corrina is a multifaceted leader shaping the future of the wine industry.
