As a new role to the organisation, I have helped build and develop TEP's marketing department. I have established the foundations through analysing the current standing and creating brand guidelines, that I have applied consistently throughout the business. As well as the usual marketing tasks, I continually work on improving the effectiveness of the website and social media channels by increasing the quantity, quality and consistency of content. I have offered staff workshops on LinkedIn engagement and networking. I also work with a team of Marketing Representatives who help drive the communications for their departments. I am often the design lead on client projects, applying my experience in graphic design and copywriting. On top of this, I am a member of the CSR Team and currently the CSR Committee Chair. I have helped manage, organise and promote TEP's CSR commitments and I am proud to have established The Environment Grant, which offers funds to local causes that raise awareness of environmental issues or promote the profession.

I manage the company’s brand and its profile within the local area. I engage with the local community creating partnerships and business development opportunities. I have increased CSR within the company and established a charity of the year. I organise events and staff training, as well as attending local networking groups. I create content including press releases, manage social media activity, analyse and report on marketing data and implement marketing strategies.

As creative specialist, I was proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and utilised my strong skills in graphic design to provide artwork and art direction. I also managed projects, deadlines and idea generation.Experience includes: collateral design, graphic design, template design, website and intranet maintenance, Social Media content, copywriting, filming and editing videos, liaising with suppliers, issuing and analysing internal/external campaigns, reporting, implementing a marketing calendar, event coordination, key member of strategic business development groups, delivering internal presentations and maintaining the company's brand identity. I also successfully managed the marketing department whilst the manager was on maternity leave. This gave me vast experience in the co-ordination of the department and communicating with over 400 staff members from 14 different offices.I was also a member of the Curtins Care Ambassadors, who champion the company charity by raising awareness and fundraising. A personal achievement being: running the London Marathon and raising over £2000. Designated First Aider with defibrillator training.

I set up my own stationery company in Southport and managed everything from my work schedule, monthly accounting to customer liaising and marketing. This involved attending wedding fairs, social media advertising, upkeep of my online presence, magazine articles and encouraging word of mouth. I built up several business relationships with hotels and other local suppliers and was included on many recommended supplier lists in the area.

I began working in the Preston Debenhams store and worked my way up to becoming Supervisor. I then moved to the Oxford Street store where I was then promoted to Allocator in Head Office.My job varied with my progressing roles but on the shop floor I was responsible for: quality customer service, personal shopping, analysing daily figures and interpreting them, visual merchandising, stock control, team management and training. As an Allocator, I was responsible for allocating stock to stores, tracking deliveries, adhoc analysis and preparing for weekly sales meetings.

I gained a placement at Eva Sonaike, a luxury homeware designer. I was responsible for preparing images for print, creating business stationery, liaising with clients and building up the list of stockists.
