Hi, I'm Corrine, a psychotherapist dedicated to breaking cycles.In Nov 2018, I pivoted into social services sector, starting afresh following a 2-year sabbatical after over a decade in the marine & offshore sector where I experienced a diverse range of roles in project management, operations, and commercial functions.In my time at AWARE (a non-profit organisation that advocates for gender equality and provides critical support services for women), I learned about client-centric, trauma-informed practices as I immersed in programme work. It was also where I reconnected with empathy, deepened my self-awareness and started on my therapy journey as I saw the impact of healing happening in counselling rooms. This clarified the meaning of why I want to do what I do today.As I pursued counselling and launched myself into the helping industry, I now practise psychotherapy where I work with individuals and couples heal from past experiences, move on from generational wounds, gaining clarity and courage to make empowering life choices. In my practice, I offer safe, non-judgmental space applying integrative evidence-based approaches tailored to individual needs, including CBT, Transactional Analysis, Inner Child work, parts work as well as mindfulness and somatic interventions.The most meaningful part of my day-to-day includes being present, compassionately curious, listening to, feeling and journeying with my clients in sessions.
