To summarize easily: I love helping employers create and maintain quality benefit plans for their employees. I am also a true advocate for the education of the end user: the employees and their families. I have been involved in different facets of employee benefits since 1997 and I enjoy being challenged by the constant change in trends and benefit laws – and also the challenge of translating the information to our clients.I have received my GBA, which signifies extensive knowledge regarding the planning, management, financing, and strategies of employee benefits. Aside from traditional health and welfare benefits, this also includes global benefits, social insurance concepts, risk management and cost containment, as well as how health care reform has changed (and will continue to change) the way employee benefits function.Specialties: My employee benefits career began in full Cafeteria Plan administration (Section 125/132 Plans) - along with HRA, HSA, MERP, and COBRA administration so these are my natural specialties. While I still work intensely with these reimbursement accounts, I have also been utilizing my employee benefits knowledge working with full third-party administration for self-funded groups and MEWAs as well as fully-insured groups. Since its inception, I have also been closely following all of the ACA changes and working with our clients to interpret how each provision will affect them and their employees.
