I am currently a student at Pennsylvania College of Technology studying to earn my Associate of Applied Science Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant. During the Fall and Spring semesters, I am a full-time student as a Physical Therapist Assistant and in the summer, I am a barista at Clearfield Dunkin' Donuts as well as studying for my online summer courses. I am a very organized, friendly, and caring hard worker hoping to become a Physical Therapist Assistant after I graduate from Penn College. I will receive my Associate of Applied Science Degree in August 2024 with my classmates and begin preparing for my licensure exam the following October. After graduation, I plan to receive my license and work in an outpatient physical therapy facility where I hope to gain experience to eventually work in other Physical Therapy settings. During my clinical education experience, I was able to gain experience within a Skilled Nursing Facility located in Williamsport, PA starting October 2023 to December 2023 which allowed me to become accustomed to the environment and staff. I was also able to gain experience with the geriatric population including therapeutic exercises, the use of modalities, and patient education. I will also be gaining experience within an Acute Care setting and an Outpatient Physical Therapy Setting both located in Clearfield, PA from May 2024 to August 2024.
