As a marketing intern for the Delmarva Shorebirds, I was responsible for assisting the marketing director with organizing, promoting and executing different events. I utilized various social networking websites in order to promote events and connect with customers and fans, specifically college students attending schools in the area. I also used direct mail to reach out to members of the community, including local churches, schools and large groups to bring them to the stadium.
