Payroll Accounting Specialist
Current• Ensure accurate payroll records by updating status changes, benefits deductions,tax withholdings, garnishments, child support orders and any other involuntarydeductions for appropriate deduction and payment.• Responsible for processing payroll for over 400 employees spread across more than 50 clients on a weekly basis.• Provide agencies of state and federal governments with needed payrollinformation.• Address employee concerns regarding hours worked, pay rates, taxes,garnishments, and paycheck discrepancies.• Accurately and efficiently process wage adjustments.• Gather and input information on hours worked for each employee across allbranches.• Work as a team with payables, receivables, and payroll.• Monitor VMS/MSP contracts to ensure bill rates in VMS match those in RecruitingSolutions system for accuracy that will contribute to easing reconciliation ofaccounts receivables from these providers.• Vendor Management Systems experience includes: SimplifyVMS, WorkDay VNDLY, SAP Fieldglass, Coupa Supplier Portal, Paycom and Dayforce.• Receive, process, and reconcile statements.• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to be sent tomanagement team.• Maintain accurate record of journals, receipts, and invoices.• Comply with all internal accounting procedures.• Review and process transactions based on established guidelines.• Communicate with employees to resolve any questions relating to their benefitselections and questions related to claims, etc.• Manage data flow between payroll and insurance company on a weekly basis• Assist with ACA forms and notice requirements.• Request Accounts Payable contact information for recipients of invoices andbilling information. Set up contact in corresponding system and provideinformation on payment options/payment terms.
