I have extensive knowledge and professional experience with multi faceted Manufacturing techniques, Fitting & Machining, Industrial Balancing, Mechanical repairs & maintenance, Mine site Fixed & Mobile plant equipment, Fabrication and Logistics.My career has seen me internally promoted with two engineering companies, progressing from a hands on first class machinist up via estimating into project managing, which led me into workshop management and as Spare Parts Manager. I believe this is due to me being a confident team leader with a lot of motivation and ambition to achieve.My people management style is based around trust, motivation and empowerment. I am able to remain calm and level headed even when under extreme pressure to deliver tight results and I can achieve results in my team by exhibiting this. My personality draws people to trust my decisions and I easily build great rapport with teams on all levels, with both internal and external stakeholders. I have had professional training in leadership and management which has assisted me a great deal with both career goals and working projects. Saying that though I still like to get my hands dirty "on the tools"​ and do what ever it takes to get the job done as part of the team.
