As a Lighting Consultant at Lofings Lighting, Inc. since Feb 2021, I create custom lighting solutions for residential and commercial projects, applying my expertise in luxury retail and lighting design. I work with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget, and provide them with creative and functional lighting options that enhance their spaces and reflect their style.My passion for lighting design stems from my background in theatre and playwriting, where I learned the importance of lighting in creating mood, atmosphere, and storytelling. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Studies and Playwriting from Southern Methodist University, and I spent eight years as an Architectural Lighting Designer at Sean O'Connor Lighting, a prestigious lighting design firm based in Los Angeles. There, I worked on award-winning high-end retail, residential, and hospitality projects, and also handled the firm's business development and marketing practices. I have a strong track record of building and maintaining relationships with high-touch clients, negotiating contracts, and managing projects from concept to completion.
