Responsible and oversight of multiple EM sites, achieving specific performance metrics in areas of site execution, cost, service and quality while handling all aspects of manufacturing operations within the assigned sites to include product supply logistics and distribution, capacity/planning, capabilities assessment, inventory control, purchasing, quality services, negotiations, and engineering. Responsible for implementing actions to resolve quality/GMP issues, facilitate the implementation of LEAN models for strategic contract sites and support business initiatives in terms of remidiation and agility. Support development and execution of business continuity plans as a means to ensure continued supply in an emergency situation, engage with qualified sources of supply and manufacturing sites based on product requirements and marketing strategies as they relate to manufacturing requirements. Conduct on-going analysis of total end-to-end costs of supply, propose and manage implementation of cost improvements, support “directed pure buy” or “pure buy” supply arrangements. Develop plans and implement actions to reduce lead-times and manage inventory levels at contract sites, including on-going management of Slow Moving and Obsolete inventory. Responsible for management and performance of 1st shift production team consisting of 32 operators and 60 temporary contract employees that support 16 packaging lines and $250MM of net trade sales. Responsible to ensure standards in the areas of quality and compliance, customer service, safety, and cost as well as strategic capacity enablement, employee growth and development are achieved.

Supported shift team leader in planning, directing, and coordinating production departments within the business unit to produce products at minimum cost, with the highest standards for safety and consistent with quality specifications and production schedules. Within area of responsibility, manage day-to-day manufacturing operations while directing materials management and other support organizations.

Responsible for execution of final reconciliation of bulk and finished goods process orders for cosmetic and OTC products at the Los Angeles manufacturing facility. Complete review and accuracy of production records ensuring all appropriate inventory system transactions for raw materials and components have been accurately completed.
