About Cortnie Brown

Since a young age I have always dreamt of becoming a lawyer and specifically working in the area of family law.Fast forward to 2020 when I graduated from the University of Wollongong with a Bachelor of Laws and Arts (Psychology), the completion of the Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice in 2021, and my Admission to practice as a Solicitor of the High Court in December 2021.My passion is to help clients navigate what is commonly the most difficult period of their life, to focus towards the future, and to remain (as far as possible) outside of Court.This year I trained to become a Collaborative Lawyer training, and eventually plan to train as an Independent Children’s Lawyer and achieve my accredited specialisation in family law.
