Responsible for architecture and implementation of the company's propriety underwriting, anti-fraud, and instant decisioning platform as well as pricing, features, payment, and structure of consumer and business finance solutions

Responsible for development, implementation, and improvement of retail lease offerings for consumers who currently do not qualify for traditional financing options. Focus of efforts include segment management for underwriting, P&L responsibilities, expanding customer payment solutions, collections and recovery, internal reporting development, product awareness, marketing, and enterprise product development.In addition to product development responsibilities, Cort also oversaw the company's competitive research efforts, identifying for senior management potential market opportunities. Cort also managed and implemented a campaign to localized the company's web application and related leasing documents into Spanish.

Responsible for overseeing the establishment and implementation of the company's initial operation systems and work flow that presently assists hundreds of small and midsized businesses increase their online visibility though SEO/SEM, social media campaigns, lead generation, and web site development. Having a practical and working understanding of current online marketing strategies has assisted Cort in the establishment of Leadgenix. Some of his other duties currently include business development, general management, contract development and review, human resource management and increasing the company's profitability.

Responsible for all aspects of day to day management of a multi-state storefront and online financial services operation, including sales, profitability, new product development and implementation, human resource management, government relations, loan underwriting, policy and procedure development and implementation. In addition to these responsibilities, Cort co-created and organized a highly responsive operations group to organize and assist branch locations meet their goals by providing logistical support and enhanced reporting services. In addition to management responsibilities, Cort was responsible for the development and implementation of several new consumer lending products, a highly successful direct to consumer precious metals purchasing program, as well as a expansion of consumer loan services through the company's website.As regulatory and government relations matters grow increasingly important, Cort has utilized his background to help the company remain compliant with a number of state and federal regulations including recently enacted Dodd-Frank Regulations. In addition to his management and regulatory responsibilities with the company, he also serves as a western states government affairs liaison for CFSA, the national trade association of short-term lenders.

Responsible for all aspect of AML/BSA/MSB compliance. Developed comprehensive compliance handbook for operation use in branch locations following the passage of the Patriot Act of 2001. Implemented compliance procedures, ongoing reviews, and training of employees who handle cash transactions. Also responsible for responding to state and federal audits pertaining to MSB compliance and consumer lending compliance.
