My name is Corvin Hook, I am a first-generation college student enrolled in the Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication studying to major in the field of public relations and a minor in the field of marketing at the Price College of Business. My work ethic is unquestionable with a foundation in laborious jobs in my teen and some college years as a ranch hand and project manager assistant. Moving into pharmaceuticals through high school and into my early years of college holding a pharmaceutical technician's license by the end of my time. Through the recent years of COVID and so on I have held a multitude of jobs ranging from ski rental in Keystone, CO, a waiter at Toby Keith’s in OKC, etc. (listed in my resume). Most notably the marketing internship that I took up over the summer of ‘22 with Alta Pest Control, has given me an immense amount of on-the-job experience in the nitty gritty of marketing and most importantly consumer behavior and interactions. I am currently working as the assistant to the Marketing Director for Standard Roofing in OKC. I am passionate about people and wish to make my mark among the PR professionals and further my experience with like-minded individuals.
