I love visual design and problem solving. However, I hate talking about myself so let’s make this quick and easy.1. I’ve been a creative professional for nine years. In this time, I’ve helped tons of brands in many verticals reach their ideal client and speak to them on their terms. I love adapting to different identities and approaches and figuring out what works best for each.2. I left college intending to work in music or promotions, but I found that advertising and marketing allows me the freedom to flex my skills on way more than just show posters. I love that working on everything from restaurant openings to pharmaceutical ads has pushed me to broaden my outlook on what’s possible in design.3. Seven years ago I started at Division-D, an at-the-time small advertising company out of Columbia, Missouri. In my time here, I’ve grown so much personally and professionally. Our large base of clients has given me a steady flow of work to show my skills on, and limitless opportunity for growth. In the fall of 2021, I was promoted to be the company’s first Creative Director.4. As a Creative Director, it’s my responsibility to focus and develop Division-D’s branding and creative capabilities, providing meaningful insight and suggestions to our clients on their marketing and advertising efforts, and lead a kick-ass team of designers.5. I think the quickest way to sum up my current job description is: development. I need to be forward-looking to make sure our clients’ have ahead-of-trend and effective campaigns. I need to make sure we’re on-track to offer state of the art placements and technologies to our clients. And I need to be an awesome mentor and manager to the junior members of the team.6. I love working in a field where every day offers new challenges and problems to solve. And at the end of the day, memes aside, graphic design is my passion.
