I started working the bar/hospitality scene back in 2013 when I joined at a nightclub called gatecrasher in Nottingham. Did a number of other jobs around university & started enjoying working in bars. When gatecrasher was taken over and made into current club - Ink. I became supervisor then went on to become Bar co-ordinator very quickly. I was juggling two jobs at the time at uni alongside that I was duty manager/supervisor at a place called Cured where I was for 6 months in a full time Duty Managerial position. Then applied with a Great northern inns site - The Cross keys where I started my role as assistant manager back in June 2016. I placed myself there for a year before requesting another site move, which I then moved to Southbank bar at Trent bridge. After being there only 3 months I was given the opportunity to prove myself in the General manager position, to which I stayed for just over a year. During my time I have accumulated a number of qualifications & certificates, with the Great Northern Inns group. My previous role up until September 2021 was General Manager within Greene King PLC - the UK’s largest pub company, & have been since August 2018. I have recently championed two area position roles including a record breaking Christmas for the company.I am now currently a General manager within the Boporan Restaurant group, representing one of their brands - Slim chickens. This business if best described as a southern American style restaurant, serving the best quality breaded chicken tenders, wings & breasts. All whilst being able to watch live sports as you enjoy great southern American hospitality.
