- Led development of organization’s strategies to build Arkansas into a leading state in education- Oversaw policy development/advocacy efforts connecting a broad set of stakeholders from across Arkansas- Directed multiple budgets totaling more than $9 million- Established compliance frameworks for organization’s legal, tax, and audit functions

- Oversaw drafting of rules on a variety of topics including distance and digital learning, educational options, innovations in curriculum, school finance, school nutrition, and special education- Provided counsel to State Board of Education, Commissioner of Education, and ADE staff- Conducted legal seminars for public and private education leaders throughout Arkansas- Provided ethics guidance to Arkansas public educational entity administrators and board members- Regularly joined in work sessions with Governor’s staff and legislative staffs as well as community and business leadership- ADE Charter Internal Review Committee member & ADE Data Stewards Review Committee alternate member- Arkansas E-rate Coordinator, Interim (2014 – 2015) -- Helped guide multi-agency push to upgrade state broadband network, resulting in a 200x bandwidth increase -- Administered $5 million broadband grant program for Arkansas public schools

- Developed specific policy priorities with input from more than 10,000 Arkansas educators- Designed and implemented political and legislative strategies for securing support of Association priorities- Connected policy/political activities with Association’s organizing efforts in communities around the state- Oversaw public relations, including answering press inquiries and drafting of editorial articles and public remarks

- Led development of organization in order to achieve mission of positively impacting lives of youth through the game of golf- Engineered $200,000 turnaround of organization’s finances - Grew the number of children served by 200 percent, to more than 3,000 annually
