The senior federal civilian in the organization. Assimiliates duties as the Commander in his/her absence.Directly administers programs and serves as the commanders primary source of information. Develops goals and objectives that integrate organization and 61st Security Forces Squadron objectives. Establishes, revises, or reviews policies, mission objectives, and organization design for the staff procedures.Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Maintains threat awareness, assesses asset criticality and conducts and documents risk assessments.Conducts and tracks policy compliant AT/Physical Security training, and develops and disseminates awareness products that enhance the security posture of field organizations.Implements a comprehensive AT/Physical Security assessment program for assigned organizations that meet higher echelon assessment standards and goals.Identifies, reports, manages, and tracks resource requirements and resource expenditures through the acquisition life cycle of projects.Provides day-to-day oversight of a facility guard force.Serves as Contract Officer Technical Representatives (COTR) for assigned AT/Physical Security projects.

Provides direction, coordination, review and evaluation of AT/FP related activities within Continental NORAD Region (CONR), 1 Air Force (AFNORTH) and coordinates those activities with DoD and national-level agencies.Represents CONR, 1 AF (AFNORTH) in USAF, DoD, and national-level working groups and committees.Establishes and maintains a current series of liaison contacts with DoD and national-level agencies as an expert in the field of anti terrorism and force protection.Oversees and conducts AT/FP assessments, physical security inspections, staff assistance visits (SAV)/site surveys at three subordinate air defense sectors and sixteen fighter wings assigned to North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and CONR, 1 AF (AFNORTH).Prepares Anti Terrorism / Force Protection (AT/FP) related finished analysis reports and provides focused AT/FP related analytical support to air and ground operations as applicable to Defense Support to Civil Authorities (DSCA), DHS - Dept of Homeland Defense (HD), and Air Sovereignty Alert Missions.
