About Cory Cardinal B.Ed, M.A.

Education is one of the tools my late parents: father Dr. Harold Cardinal and mother Dr. Maisie Cardinal said that would be the keys to deciding a better future for all generations to come.My philosophy is that our youth have the capability to become the experts in all fields with guidance and direction from adults and Elders. It is an absolute dream and I am so happy to work on the neighbouring First Nation next to mine. Our school is a hybrid school that has Kindergarten to Grade 6 Nehiyawak School, Grades 7 to 12 Buffalo Bay Academy, Kaskapahtew Pekiskwewin (Smoke Signals) Formerly “Virtual” (K-12),Buffalo Bay Kaskitayanih-Ka Skih tah ya nih (“When I can”) (Formerly “Outreach) (7-12). Our programming includes Sports Academy, 4 day school weeks built into our yearly calendar, Nehiyaw Language and Cultural teachings, Land Based Learning (called Land, Air, Water, Fire or LAWF teachings). Definitely an exciting time to work and be a student at our school.
