My name is Cory Cline, I am a senior Operations and Supply Chain Management Major at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I am a results-driven individual who leads by example. My extensive athletic career as a college football player is a proven token of my hard work ethic as well as my natural leadership ability. I say this because every season of my football and basketball career, I was named the captain of my team meaning I was responsible for knowing each of my teammate's roles and responsibilities for every play. Efficiency is a point of emphasis that I believe I will bring to a company. Running an effective and efficient company is like building a sturdy structure; there may be a faster way to build it, but if you don’t lay a solid foundation and do it one brick at a time, your structure will begin to crumble. An exceptional manager will enforce a well-designed plan to maintain excellence within the business and this is what I plan to do. My personality and communication skills will allow associates and business partners to trust and count on me. This will build my accountability, which is another major skill I would like to demonstrate to a future company. I believe my two-plus years-experience within an Amazon sortation center has allowed me to gain knowledge on what it takes to run a warehouse with one of the highest volumes in the world. Not everyone wants to lead 100+ people to obtain satisfaction, but I do. My time at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte and work experience at Amazon has allowed me to gain great critical thinking, effective communication, and decision-making skills that I will implement into my career after school.
