Roles:Internal network and security engineer -Monitor and maintain integrity of the internal network across 15 branch offices. -Manage different network devices such as Cisco ASA, Cisco switches, Cisco routers, Barracuda web filters, Cisco WAP managed by a wireless controller, ruckus and Aruba access points. -Manage security patching using SCCM -Work towards tightening our security posture by implementing newer technologies. -Monitor network traffic and outages through Solarwinds. -Migrate and rebuild networks during office moves. -Replace and upgrade various network equipment as needed. -Planning and implementing new network rebuild at all branch offices to improve network speeds and security. -Work in and have experience with Active Directory, Exchange, GPO.Managed IT Services team leadThis is the second role of responsibilities for this job. -Work with and lead a team of 3 other employees to help manage over 25 customers of various sizes ranging from small to medium size businesses in varying industries. -Handle network and security projects for my team and all the other teams within the managed services department. -Maintain the following firewalls in order of most experience to least: Fortinet Fortigate Watchguard Cisco ASA Barracuda NGF Juniper netscreen Dell Sonicwall Cisco MerakiHave experience with access points and switches from Cisco, Fortinet, Netgear, and just switches with Dell and HP.
