Center For Leadership And Service

I plan programming for students at local elementary schools. The programs are designed to make underserved youth more aware of college and their opportunities. Additionally, the program provides elementary students to interact with college students to help develop positive role models. This gives an opportunity for college students to learn social responsibility in a fun and positive environment. I plan events, seek and train volunteers, and research the needs of the community so I can tailor the other aspects.

Center For Leadership And Service

I help coordinate activities and assist the Program Coordinator with the general running of the America Reads program. Additionally, I am responsible for the monthly training and development of America Reads tutors. I serve as a liaison between tutors and the Program Coordinator. The America Reads program is a government-funded federal work-study based program whose goal is to help students in public schools improve mathematics and reading abilities through student-assisted tutoring and mentoring.

I coordinate day to day tasks and generate reports and data for the Center for Leadership and Service at Moravian College. I help promote community service and leadership opportunities and help with their behind-the-scenes functioning.

I work in the Advancement (Development) department at Bethlehem Catholic High School. My responsibilities include maintaining the advancement website, creating materials for alumni distribution, developing and maintaining the alumni database, and working closely with the Director of Advancement on projects related to alumni donation. I also help plan alumni events and donor events.
