President of Aggregates

Direct responsibility for 11 aggregate operations and 5 Lightweight facilities.Responsibilities:- Safety: Pursuing a culture of safety that is best in class with an objective of “zero” injuries. - Operations Management: Provide direct oversight in the extraction, processing, storage, and shipping of aggregates at the sites. Embraces best practices, processes and tools to ensure plant activities are optimized and costs are best in class. - Inventory Management: Manage inventory needs at sites through frequent coordination with Sales, Quality Control and Operations.- Performance Management: Utilize KPIs, Performance Efficiency Reviews, financial statements and operational reports to track performance, establish effective action plans and fosters continuous improvement. - Planning: Develop operational and capital plans, prepare budgets and forecasts. - Capital: Work with Area Operations Manager and Director of Finance to identify necessary sustaining and development capital.

Completed monthly production and cost forecast for ten stone plants, andpresented results to senior management• Led a three-member cross-department team to ensure compliance withcompany, state, and federal safety rules• Direct responsibility for safety at ten stone plants and fifteen asphalt plants• Organized and instructed annual safety training for all employees• Implemented 5S efficiency processes at all stone plants• Conducted physical stone inventories at twenty-five locations
