These skills and over two decades of experience in tax teams, tax technology, process management, solution architecture, and consulting give him an exceptional cross-functional perspective, ideal when providing strategic direction.Before joining Avalara, Cory was responsible for leading, expanding, and improving processes of Amazon’s US indirect tax reporting team. He also previously held leadership roles with Vertex, in the retail industry, and U.S. Army.
