Working at the Chippewa Valley Council I had total responsibility for the day to day business management for the camp involving up to 200+ campers each week. My office responsibilities included managing check in, collecting fees, balancing the store cashbox each day, managing the daily bank deposit and creating W2 forms. My administrative responsibilities included sorting around 1000 merit badge paperwork, correcting troop reporting errors and prepare weekly award packets for each scout. Additionally, I controlled radio communications, including staffing the weather alert system for the entire camp.
