I am currently serving as the Director for the Veterans Benefits Administration's Regional Benefits Office located in Montgomery, Alabama. In this capacity I am fully responsible for the effective and economical direction, control, and operation of the departmental program of benefits and services provided by law for Veterans, their dependents and beneficiaries and services for other Federal agencies. The Montgomery Regional Offices is the only office in Alabama administering benefits for Veterans compensation, pension and vocational rehabilitation and employment. I am also responsible for establishing all Regional Office policies and procedures consistent with national policies. I provide executive leadership and direction for subordinates in the investigation and solution of problems arising in the regional administration of Veterans benefits programs. I delegate authority and responsibility in line with VA policies and procedures to an executive staff, exercising control as circumstances require to facilitate and secure sound administration from all subordinates in their respective professional and technical programs, evaluates results and accomplishments in each program to identify problem areas, direct remedial measures and assure maximum improvement and service provided in a cost-effective manner.As the Director I am responsible for the oversight of program planning, integrating workload forecasts for all program functions and facilitating services and converting workload to monetary needs for personnel and materials, supplies, equipment, and space in accordance with VA policies concerning Fiscal and Operating plans.

I previously served as the Executive Director for one of the Veterans Benefits Administration's largest VA Regional Benefits Offices, located in St. Louis, Missouri. In this capacity I was fully responsible for the effective and economical direction, control, and operation of the departmental program of benefits and services provided by law for Veterans, their dependents and beneficiaries and services for other Federal agencies. The St. Louis Regional Offices is one of the largest in the VBA network with nearly 900 employees administering benefits for Veterans compensation and pension, education, and vocational rehabilitation and employment. I was also responsible for establishing all Regional Office policies and procedures consistent with national policies. I provided executive leadership and direction for subordinates in the investigation and solution of problems arising in the regional administration of Veterans benefits programs.
