About Cory Herbert

For the last seven years I have specialized in recruitment and job development, which has allowed me to build on my previous experience in B2B sales, marketing, human resource practices, and leadership. Before life as a Recruiter I was an Operations Manager and a Sales Consultant. During this time I developed a strong understanding of modern organizations and their staffing requirements. I now use these insights when working with both parties to ensure excellent retention rates for employers. My most recent position was with the WorkBC employment program where I was responsible for the Sea to Sky corridor, recruiting for a wide range of sectors and organizations including distributors, terminals, manufacturers, independent trades businesses, material suppliers, and retailers. I recently returned to Ontario to the Hamilton area and look forward to continuing my career in job development. Specialties: Contracts, facilitating direct hiring, recruitment of entry-level personnel and tradespeople, interviewing, diversifying workforces, building talent pools, networking, coaching.

Listed skills include Team Building, Customer Service, Resume Writing, Cold Calling, and 16 others.
