Based in HDR's Syracuse office, I'll will work closely with our national, regional and area teams to support our drinking water treatment practice at HDR. My goal is to bring my nearly 25 years of treatment experience and subject matter expertise to support our clients and teams, elevate our ability to pursue and deliver large, and complex water treatment projects.

Managing resident engineer for 320 MGD advanced water treatment facility design-build. As managing resident engineer, manage resident engineering team and back-office discipline engineers in the day-to-day process of submittal review and RFI adjudication. Coordinate with the construction team and the client to address technical engineering issues as they arise. Support QA/QC team with field deficiencies and mitigations.Manage staff budget, engineering change management, submittal and RFI response performance, and technical dispute resolution.

Co-design manager for a 320 MGD advanced drinking water treatment facility design-build project which includes raw water intake, clarification, advanced oxidation, media filtration, high service pumping, and residuals management. Managed design budget, day-to-day engineering design team activities, reviewed design deliverables, coordinated technical issues with the client, design team and construction team, and assisted in adjudication of technical comments to the design documents. In addition, coordinated geotechnical and topographical survey activities and facilitated their incorporation into the design.

Worked under program director, managed FEED Contractor designing 7.5 MMBWPD (315 MGD) treatment facility. The project will eventually provide water for oil fields in southern Iraq which require water injection to ensure proper oil reservoir maintenance and to enhance oil recovery. The facility will include temporary and permanent labor camps, security facilities, administration facilities, primary treatment infrastructure, all utilities including wastewater treatment and RO, 200 MW of power generation, and offsites. Total program value of $7-billion which also included pipelines managed by other staff. As Project Manager, prepared scope and tendering documents, evaluated technical and commercial tenders, managed performance of FEED Contractor to achieve project requirements for safety, engineering, quality, schedule, and cost management for the delivery of a self-contained 315 MGD seawater treatment supply facility in southern Iraq, and managed engineering staff in the review of the FEED Contractor’s deliverable. As Sr. Project Engineer, provided engineering support to team and helped in developing guidance for the client to facilitate decision making.
