Started my professional career at McDonalds (age 16) flipping burgers, and enlisted in the Army after my 18th birthday. After returning home from Iraq, I finished my education, and became a teacher. As a soldier, I learned how to be an effective leader and execute the objective, as a student I learned how to open yourself up and think spatially, and as an educator I learned how to be truly adaptive. Each role was similar, and each role required me to draw on experience in order to cultivate a better understanding of the world around me.
