Stemming from his own story of abuse as a minor, Cory has a passion for seeing children find lasting freedom from sexual exploitation. Since 2012, he’s been a key spokesperson for Destiny Rescue, speaking to audiences on behalf of trafficked children around the globe. From his earlier days as Destiny Rescue’s senior writer and international media director in Thailand, Cory has traveled extensively across Asia and Africa visiting Destiny Rescue’s work on the ground. With frontline undercover rescue experience and interaction with survivors, he has witnessed many kids’ lives transformed firsthand—including the life-changing experience of helping lead nearly 60 child survivors to Christ. As a fund development professional, Cory provides leadership oversight and coaching to his teams and has helped empower them to fundraise millions to rescue kids and help them stay free. In 2021, he played a key role in spearheading—and currently oversees—Destiny Rescue’s strategic partnerships department, foundation partnerships department and artist speaker program.Cory draws passion from his extensive speaking background and personal ministry to lead Destiny Rescue’s strategic partnerships division.

Destiny Rescue is on a mission to end child sexual slavery worldwide in our lifetime. In order to accomplish this significant achievement, people will have to know about the issue of child sexual slavery and the work of Destiny Rescue, so they can respond by joining the fight. As the Director of Strategic Partnerships, I will play a key role in raising awareness, funds and talent for the ongoing work and mission of Destiny Rescue. In addition, I will act as Chief Spokesperson/ Storyteller for Destiny Rescue USA, utilizing my knowledge of the organization both locally and abroad and my expertise on the issue of human trafficking, especially the topic of child sexual slavery, to inspire audiences across the United States and beyond to take action. Destiny Rescue’s mission is to end child sexual slavery worldwide. In order for this to happen, Destiny Rescue will have to grow significantly. My role as the National Director of Development is to spearhead development efforts across the United States as Destiny Rescue continues to expand. Develop and maintain ongoing partnerships with churches, businesses and key donors. Provide leadership, management and vision for the entire development team including regional managers, area representatives and volunteers. Grow annual budget each year by inspiring an army of likeminded individuals to join our team of donors and/ or volunteers. Train new regional managers and new area representatives as they join us to be a voice for the work of Destiny Rescue. National Spokesperson – speak at churches, conferences and events across the United States about the ongoing work of Destiny Rescue. In addition, represent Destiny Rescue publically on radio and TV programs across the United States.

• Public SpeakerMy experience living and working in Southeast Asia on the frontlines of human trafficking as the Media Director for the past 18 months qualifies me to speak on many of the aspects we face regarding child sex trafficking; such as the impact of poverty in remote villages, the need for prevention, how to assist local police investigations, identifying and securing rescues, counseling and aftercare to restore mental, spiritual, and physical health to rescues, education and vocational training to reintegrate into society and break the cycle of poverty. Not only have I traveled throughout Southeast Asia to understand the culture and various reasons children end up in the sex-trade, but I have personal experience identifying children trapped in brothels and red-light districts and working with anti-trafficking police. In addition, I have witnessed the transforming power children experience while in our aftercare program.• PromotionsHosting booths at conventions and conferences, connecting and partnering with local churches, pastors, other nonprofit organizations, businesses and business people, developing advocates, inspiring people to action, and offering assistance to advocates with fundraising events.

The role of the Media Director based out of Chiang Rai, Thailand, is to oversee the international media team to create professional, high quality, competitive, relevant marketing material that positions Destiny Rescue as an international global leader in the fight against human trafficking. The Media Director is also responsible for maintaining quality control, making sure that everything going out to the public represents Destiny rescue professionally and accurately. Responsibilities include:• Ensuring all media being published is aligned with the mission and vision of Destiny Rescue and the Founder and International President.• The day to day management of the international media department, which includes: graphic designers, videographers, web developers, photographers, copywriters, social media strategists, SEO specialists, and researchers/ technical writers. • Working in collaboration with Destiny Rescue’s various offices around the world to ensure Destiny Rescue is providing these offices with the most current, relevant promotional and marketing material.• Working with Country Managers in the nations where Destiny Rescue has rescue, aftercare, and prevention programs, so that compelling stories and facts can be used in marketing material. These stories are also shared with fundraising partners and sponsors so that they have an idea of what is happening with Destiny Rescue overseas.
