As the Custom Project Engineer at 3form I was the sole engineering resource for the client facing department at 3form. In this position my main responsibilities were: calls with architects and designers, develop pricing for custom products, working with estimators to quote projects, write process for custom products, manage the creation of the custom product post order, manage relationships throughout all the departments and factories required to get a custom product out the door. Developed and improved the custom material product channel to streamline all custom product requests to the point where I could handle thousands of opportunities a yearThis position required high level communication skills, high level process development and planning, high level engineering and product testing capabilities, and the ability to manage risk.

Because of my internship at CCI I now have the confidence to say that I can do anything and survive in any environment. This is because I had the chance to be in a completely new environment and run thorough calculations, use AutoCAD for the design of HVAC systems, go out into the field, and learn the necessity of communication between engineers, project managers, and just about everyone involved in the design process.

After being accepted as an Ambassador of Engineering for the University of Utah, I worked diligently along side of many other students and faculty members to reach out to middle and high school level students in order to inspire them to reach their goals and become engineers.

As an intern at ArmorActive I had the chance to work directly with their head of engineering. Through this I was able to further my knowledge in various design programs, gain real world experience, and I got the unique opportunity to gain insight into the way engineers interact with all aspects of a company. It was a great experience and I am so thankful to have had it.
