Cory Roberts is a Director for CBRE and actively leads the property management oversight of 8,700,000 square feet across 13 properties and 31 employees. With 15 years of real estate experience, Cory integrates building & property management operations, capital improvements, leasing, accounting, project management, and technical services. His major accomplishments includes managing the 2018 BOMA International The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) in addition to his Chicago & Regional 2015 & 2011-2012 & 2008-09 wins, earned the BOMA 360 degree Performance award three times. For 2015, Cory was selected as BOMA’s Property Management Professional of the Year and in 2014 & 2010 was honored with the CBRE Chicago Region’s Real Estate Manager of the Year award. Prior to joining CBRE in 2007, Mr. Roberts was a highly distinguished United States Air Force Intelligence Officer and was selected as the 2014 Mathis Reserve Officer of the Year and was recently selected as the Deputy Director of Intelligence at the Pentagon. Cory’s primary responsibilities have centered on mentoring property managers to achieve client outcomes through leading exquisite service delivery, industry leading best practices while improving building cash flow. He provides consulting on Life Science conversions and new building construction. In addition, his energy efficiency expertise and sustainable initiatives assisted with USGBC LEED, WELL, Fitwell certifications across multiples Class A properties.
