As a Systems Engineer for the Data Center Engineering Team, my key responsibility was to engineer solutions for business needs from the documentation through the deployment phase. I also worked on a Server Refresh initiative to refresh legacy hardware on over 500 servers internationally.● Engineered & Deployed the back end for CSS (Customer Self Service) which services customer payment, flight booking, and kiosk. Backend consisted of 6 SQL Clusters, 4 Hyper-V Clusters, and 75 Virtual Web Servers.● Engineered solutions for merger Integration with United Airlines systems.● Engineered & Deployed the back end for our mobile device application (Android/iOS). The back end consisted of 4 SQL Clusters.● Engineered & Deployed systems to upgrade FIDS (Flight Information Display Servers) which is responsible for updating flight status to airport informational screens, in every hub worldwide.● Refreshed every Domain Controller in the Enterprise, so that we could switch over to an R2 environment.● Performed lead & peer reviews on co-worker engineering & standards documentation.● Coordinate hardware and software installations and upgrades to ensure work is performed in accordance with company policy. Recommended resolutions to complex matters of significance and coordinate the implementation of the approved course of action.
