Monitors and evaluates training procedures, records and documentation for On-the-Job Training (OJT). Reviews CPFS, NAS Change Proposals, Configuration Control Directives or other documents to verify technical feasibility of proposed changes and translates the approved changes into required system modifications. Conducts operational and technical analysis evaluations of components to ensure system integrity and to determine conformance with specifications for air traffic control operational acceptability and/or air safety.Accomplishments:Overhauled program processes fixing 60 errors and reduced execution costs 50%. Additionally, I was responsible for assisting in managing the facility training program, ensuring that International Civil Aviation Organization and FAA program requirements were met. Other duties included managing the Airfield Automation System (11 computer network) for 3 facilities and the facilities simulator program.Accomplishments:Rebuilt 11 computer network, upgraded with $35K software/hardware, which adverted $1.1 million dollar replacement costs. Oversaw 236 joint operations in support of NATO ODYSSEY DAWN missions. Coordinated joint Italian and United States air traffic control actions and procedures with the host nation agencies and other base agencies. Led controllers supporting combat operations over Libya.
