• Day to day running, planning and finding more work for the 2 trucks I have.• Dealing with customers, Contractors, Public and suppliers.• Invoicing, payroll, and paying for services such as fuel, tyres, and maintenance.• Purchased a tipper and skid steer loader without any work lined up, but knew I could get customers and build the business. After 2 months I had 6 customers and 1 of them wanted me working for them full time doing communications. • Worked on the joint venture between Leighton’s and BMD which was the Safe link Project upgrade to the Ipswich motorway. I was operating excavators and skid steers installing communications and electricity conduit and pits. Day to day dealing with the site engineers and traffic control to make sure for the safety of our staff.• In 2009 I was in charge of installing an 8 way of P100 Telstra conduit on the joint venture between Thiess and John Holland which is the Airport Link Project. I had 13 staff and 12 pieces of machinery (Excavators, Skid Steer, and Tippers) at 5 different locations which I had to make sure everyone was safe by ordering traffic control and making sure we had the right material eg: sand, pipe, glue. I also had to deal with the public as we were trenching down a residential street. • This was quite challenging because of where we were working the safety of my staff was the most important part for me, as I had a very tight schedule.

• Started this company in December 2004 with purchasing 1 truck and 10 customers, buy June 2005 I had 17 customers and another truck and trailer.• Dealing with customers, Contractors, Public and suppliers.• Been able to build a business by getting more customers.• Invoicing, payroll, and paying for services such as fuel, tyres, and maintenance.• We moved to back to Australia in 2006 and sold this business in 2008.• I had put a manager on to look after this business, but I was still doing all the invoicing and making all the payments while in Australia.• Worked in with a company called WSD (Warehouse Storage & Distribution) although it only had 9 staff, the amount of freight we would move and store in a day was quite amazing.• Even though New Zealand is where I was born I think of Brisbane as home which is why we moved back here to live.

• In 1998 I started as a bulk truck driver and by 2001 I was promoted to PM Systems Controller where my job was operating the sortation system, and training operators for the system.• I was also promoted 2 months later to the workshop manager where I had a staff of 11 which included 4 cleaners, 2 truck washers, 2 mechanics, 2 fitter and turners, and 1 pallet control person. • I had to plan and implement procedures on how to maintain and service over 120 trucks and over 30 semi and b double trailers.• Setup spread sheets and reports.• I would also do job interviews.• I consider myself as a go getter and a problem solver.
