i4architecture is a Northern Ontario based architectural firm practicing in Thunder Bay, Ontario and serving the Northwestern Ontario region. The firm’s goal is to create innovative, meaningful and functional buildings that incorporate sustainable green building principles, with the aim to design buildings that make a positive contribution to the built environment.Our firm use a collaborative team approach to our projects and encourage the development of our technical staff through engagement in all aspects of a project’s development, as well as through advanced training and in-house learning.The meaning behind the name “i4a” comes from our firms vision and approach to our projects - which are “Imaginative, Innovative, Inspiring and Insightful”. The acronym is also used as a recognizable domain name and an intentional play on words, being that we have “an eye for architecture” Our tag-line “meaningful spaces | thoughtful places” comes from our goal to create innovative, meaningful and functional spaces that incorporate sustainable green building principles, resulting in buildings that make a positive contribution to the built environment.
