Cory started his career as retail producer at Paul Hanson Partners in 1994 specializing in insurance placement for the transportation industry. After Paul Hanson Partners became a program administrator his role and title changed to Vice President of Marketing & Agency Development. His responsibilities include retail, broker, and program marketing which include creating, developing, producing, and maintaining both insurance carrier and broker relationships. Paul Hanson Partners grew to over $150M in premium. In 2017, Cory and his partners sold their equity positions to Specialty Program Group, a Hub International subsidiary.In 2015, Cory became an equity partner at Universal Insurance Programs with the idea of taking what he learned through the years of growing Paul Hanson Partners to Universal Insurance Programs from underwriting, accounting, and distribution he felt he could help take UIP to the next level. In 2019, Cory left Paul Hanson Partners to take a more active role at Universal Insurance Programs. His primary focus is on top end premium growth, however, he also participates in all areas of the company.
