At Hisco Pump I take on a leadership role, training new hires on all machines in the shop. I take great pride in my work which, often times, requires some engineering skills in order to solve a problem or to finish a job that needed some rework. Most work we do is overhaul and repair, interference fits, reverse engineering and making OEM parts to fill parts orders. We use Mills, Lathes, VTL’s and occasionally I will run the HBM since I am the only person in the building that knows how. There is no job too difficult or intimidating for me. I am the last stop before anything goes into quality control and out the door. When people mess up they come to me to fix it.
