I am a Traffic Officer in the City of Providence. I recently became a Drug Recognition Expert which included classroom training and field training in the Maracopa Arizona intake facility. I am ignition interlock certified as well a Field Training Officer certified. As a major city patrol officer I have become proficient at handling extremely high stress situations with verbal tactics, multitasking, report writing, following directions from supervisors as well as several other skills that comes standard with this type of job. My transition to a Patrol Officer has been made easy from my experience in owning my own asphalt seal-coating business for over a decade, which required me to deal with high stress situations on my own, speaking with clients on a daily bases and working long and strenuous hours. My Bachelors Degree in Communications from Rhode Island College has helped me become well-rounded in learning to speak with people of all backgrounds and situations.
