Maintain the general ledger including the preparation of journal entries, coding of invoices, account analysis and reconciliation, closing books monthly, and setting up new accounts.  Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements to report to upper management changes in financial position/budget variances.  Perform the monthly bank reconciliation, verify all deposits, and address questions and problems with the bank.

Forecast cash flow positions and related borrowing needs to ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements. Prepares accounts payable checks. Prints all accounts payable reports and maintains all accounts payable files. Prepares analysis of accounts, as required. Answers all vendor inquiries.  Assists with accounts receivable and special projects, as necessary. Assists in monthly closings.

Managed accounting of Puerto Rico plant. Main duties included month-end reporting, income statement analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations. Also lead a monthly call to review financials, composed quarterly forecast, aided in the budget process, and issued various other ad hoc reports.
