• Obtains environmental permits and approvals, implements compliance with permit conditions, regulations, and company environmental practices and processes associated with the design, construction and reclamation of natural gas pipelines and compressor locations• Manages third-party environmental consultants in the preparation of permits for multiple projects, including timelines, budgets and deliverables• Reviews erosion and sedimentation control plans and design documents and develops standards• Leads negotiations and communications with Federal, State and local agencies including FERC, USACE, USEPA, USFWS, state DEP's & DNR's, state SHPO's, etc.• Works directly with construction project managers and contractors to inspect sites for environmental compliance from the construction phase through reclamation• Records and identifies corrective actions for the items identified during inspections• Trains applicable EQT employees and contractors on requirements and best practices• Promote EQT's environmental programs within relevant agencies to ensure strong productive relationships• Develop strategies to streamline and expedite environmental permitting and clearance obtainment process
