Part of the Systems Engineering team supporting a wide range of technology. My primary focus is the Exchange environment and myriad systems in the lab. Synonymous with all previous IT roles, the responsibilities extend across most of the spectrum of technology and support.

Role is to design, implement, and administrate myriad networks for small to medium businesses. The panoply of skills required for this position ranges from cabling and wiring, PC and server builds, developing centralized domains, configuring routers and firewalls for remote access, connecting remote offices and remote employees, all the way to developing disaster recovery solutions.

I assisted in a 3,000 user email migration in less than a month from Exchange 2010 to Exchange 2013 across domains. The challenge was that the new domain trusted the old and there were no connectors. This was a hospital facility that required little to no downtime of mail flow and staggered hours to complete the migration. The project consisted of copious documentation written and distributed to the users before and after their respective mailbox migration; continuous client communication on migration times and process; and numerous PowerShell scripts utilized to streamline the mailbox configurations in both domains and the subsequent export and import of the email files. All functionality for Exchange 2013 was administered, post migration, all through PowerShell.

Support of Cisco Routers, Switches, Firewalls and VPN devices. Server support, backup, restore, Active Directory support, and all other things Microsoft related.

I managed 2 major datacenters and four minor datacenters. Architected and built the Active Directory network to combine 15 Windows NT domains into one. Responsibility was the Windows server environment including Active Directory Design and Administration, Exchange 5.5 Servers, SQL 7.0 and SQL 2000 Servers, SUS Servers, Share Point Servers, Project Server and many File and Print Servers. Also managed DHCP, DNS, WINS, SUS, DFs and the overall infrastructure of our Windows 2003 Active Directory.
