Student-athlete for four and a half years at FHSU. This opportunity has blessed me with the connection of many people and has given me a wide variety of skills that I can apply to the workplace and to my life. Through my years of playing football at the university, my team has had many firsts in the aspects of achievements. While I was playing we have won the only post season game in FHSU's history, we beat some teams for the first time in decades, and we have tied the school record for wins in back to back seasons.

I worked on my family farm ever since I was in first grade up until my senior year of high school. Although I don’t live with my parents anymore, I still tend to end up at their house helping them when they need it. From learning how to drive to learning how to deal with failure, the farm life had taught me many lessons that I may not have otherwise learned. Feeding the livestock before feeding yourself taught me how to exercise self control. Waking up early to get a head start on the day taught me discipline. Working through tough years and many failures I learned resiliency. Most importantly, working through problems when there was not a clear answer taught me how to problem solve and to stay determined. Growing up on a farm instilled in me a work ethic that is second to none. This is probably my most important work experience.
