After graduating from Northwestern Health Sciences University in the spring of 1999, my family and I transformed a former Champion Auto Parts store in an older strip-mall into our first chiropractic office. In October 1999, ’Bloomington Family Chiropractic’ was born. I was the sole employee for the first two years, caring for patients, answering phones, and learning a lot. Fast forward a number of years and two practice moves to accommodate practice growth, a name change came about in 2013, renaming the practice ’Bloomington Wellness Center’. As our staff has grown along with the services offered, I have enjoyed the transition in my own role. I enjoy management aspects, visioning, and implementing new ventures and strategies. Patient care remains a staple. I love working with the numerous individuals and families that have continued with me from the start.In 2010 I began a new journey to specialize in an area of practice I enjoyed and felt motivated to pursue. After extensive training in scoliosis care I started a second business called: ‘Twin Cities Scoliosis Center’. In the past decade since its inception, this practice has grown significantly, as has my expertise in the conservative management of scoliosis. Thus in 2019, the business was rebranded to: ‘Scoliosis Solutions of MN’. We are the only provider for the SpineCor Dynamic brace in the upper-Midwest, the only evidence-based flexible brace on the market. In addition to scoliosis bracing, providing expert consultation for adults and kids, many traveling long distances seeking help with the challenges of the condition are a great source of satisfaction for me. October 2019 marked the beginning of a new chapter as we opened the first satellite practice of ’Bloomington Wellness Center’ in Shakopee, MN. We are excited about this next step forward in practice growth and expect it will not be the last!
