I’m the Network Manager at Charter Communication formally Time Warner Cable. In my current roll I over see all aspects of our converged Video, HSD, and Content delivery network that services hundreds of thousands of customers throughout Wisconsin. I also oversee our Enterprise network operations that service our internal customers, including our large call centers, Remote offices, Retail Centers and Field Operations. One of the most exciting parts of my job is being able to deploy some of the most advanced network gear available. Not only is it fun and exciting to have the opportunity to manage and operate a bleeding edge network it allows for some very exciting and interesting troubleshooting.Prior to becoming the Network Manager I was able to gain relationships with some amazing Enterprise customers throughout the region as a Sales/Network Engineer. As Time Warner Cable was developing its commercial service offering we were able to quickly build a young entrepreneurship style business model and deploy a network that filled a need of our customers. I was able to apply my knowledge of networks and deliver a very robust Metro Ethernet network. I gained a wide range of experience operating the Metro Ethernet network and sharpened my MPLS, BGP, Labeled Unicast, Multicast and IGP routing skills. Along with the network deployments I was instrumental in budgeting, cost modeling, purchasing and Support modeling.I’m a very outgoing person that is passionate about technology and how I can help apply it to achieve company objectives. I’m constantly challenging myself and my team of engineers to do the more then expected; always putting the customers first when planning projects and constantly striving to be the most efficient team.
