I am a full stack web developer passionate about technology and providing solutions for real-world, practical needs affecting customers, communities, organizations and business. I come from a background in philosophy and remain consistently hungry for intellectually challenging experiences. My journey into web development began when I was much younger, I was born during the dotcom bubble, and had a computer in hand since perhaps eight years old. As I grew up computers were an intrinsic part of my life. I was a quirky kid, I did not quite fit in with kids my age, and found my home in online gaming, developing a network of friends at that time that crossed the nation, and the world. This experience made me actively value an inclusive community that allowed for and itself valued consisting of a plethora of people from a variety of different walks of life. To me, to this day, life and friends just were not as interesting if they did not come in the full spectrum that the world had to offer me. My positive experience with gaming and the friends that I gathered therein brought about my inquisitiveness towards coding. If a game which had been created by programmers could create such a community, it seemed I could create more of these communities by learning to program myself. I began that journey with Python, but as life went on I veered towards the direction of facilitating discussions between myself and individuals coming from a variety of different viewpoints than myself.That led me to the path of studying philosophy, where I was driven to challenge myself and others to reconsider the very foundations of how they thought about issues in the world today. During my time at university however, I realized that my real drive lay in wanting to apply skills that brought the exact same communities that I so enjoyed interacting with, together. So now I professionally code, using programming as the tool to connect world wide communities and solve the problems they face.
